| Webster's dictionary defines the word supplementation as; something added, especially to make up for lack. But as you know there is no substitute for a balanced healthy nutritional lifestyle. That is why I like to divide supplements into two basic categories. SEASONAL and ESSENTIAL. SEASONAL refers to supplements taken for a given period of time (ie; Mass Appeal for increased muscle mass or Winrgy/Food-For-Thought for increased energy and focus) designed to achieve specific results, where as ESSENTIAL refers to foundational supplements taken on a long term basis (ie; Phyto-Vite Multivitamin for general wellness or WINOmega3Complex for anti-inflammatory support). The bottom line is you cannot take all the supplements all the time, nor do you need to. Never accept any supplement information as fact without scrutinizing it against a backdrop of science, and then apply it to the season that you are in.
